ˇˇˇˇQingdao
Free Trade Zone was approved by the State Council
in Nov.19th 1992. It has an area of 3.8km2 and is
the only free trade zone along Yellow River in Shandong
Province. It is located in the famous coastal city------Qingdao.
This zone is next to Jiaonan city and Qingdao Economic
and technological development zone and close to
Qingdao Qianwan Port. It is a special zone of "domestic
and outside" and "license-free, tax-free
and tax-bounded". Its main aim is to develop
international trade, export-oriented production.
Qingdao Free Trade Zone is dedicating to make integration
of port and zone, construct international large
Logistics zone, and further transfer to free trade
zone. It will become a window for the opening up
of Shandong Province and Qingdao City.
