Lingang Processing Industrial Zone is located in
Jiaonan city, which lies on the west coast of Qingdao
city. In order to make the economic development
center west, develop the "Three-distinguishable
features"(port economy, tour economy, ocean
economy) and build the "Four Industrial Base"(shipping
container for auto, ship and iron, household equipment,
oil and chemistry, new material), Qingdao Municipal
Party Committee and Municipal Administration built
this modern ecological industrial zone. This processing
zone has a complete infrastructure and the total
area is 30 km2. Since it's started from Feb.2003,
20 large projects from Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Hong
Kong, US, Singapore and other countries and districts
have stayed and started to go into operation. The
total investment amount is 220,000,000 $. |
